In the summer of 2018 I joined my first FinTech Start up focused on the SMB sector.
Most of my sales in the last 5 years have been new new, new product to new clients.
It tough but fun, and it is what grows businesses.
For over 30 years I’ve been in customer facing roles.
I’ve sold software, software as a service, business process outsourcing, technology services and end-to- end digital transformation projects.
I can sell at all levels, rolling my sleeves up to work with the influencers and recommenders, and then presenting to the board to close.
In my last role I talked to around 400 small businesses to understand their finance needs. Big data only gets you so far, you can’t beat actually meeting to really understand the market.
